Biography

Larisa Walk grew up in a snowy Siberian town of around 500 people. She now lives in hot California, United States with her husband Andrew and two cats with delusions of grandeur.  Her short paranormal fiction has been published in print and online magazines and anthologies. The latest, “The Blue Dahlia”, is currently available at Expanded Horizons online magazine. She speaks 4 languages and utilizes her linguistic skills when she does research for her stories. The greatest influence on her writing has been a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita”. Its gritty realism, insightful details and mysticism inspire her to this day.
